Voice Macros
Voice Macros are your secret weapon for speed. They turn short phrases into long blocks of text or complex commands.
What is a Macro?
It's a mapping: Trigger Phrase → Big Content.
When you're dictating, dIKta.me listens for these triggers. If it hears one, it swaps it out instantly.
Cool Uses
1. Signatures & Templates
Stop typing the same email closer 50 times a day.
- You say: "Insert Signature"
- We type:
Best regards, **John Doe** Senior Developer | Architecture Team *Sent via dIKta.me*
2. AI Instructions
Tell the AI how to write, not just what to write.
- You say: "Fix Grammar"
- We send: "Rewrite the last sentence to be more professional and fix any grammatical errors."
3. Developer Shortcuts
- You say: "Git Push"
- We type:
git push origin main --force-with-lease
How do I add my own?
Head to Settings > Macros. Keep your triggers unique (e.g., use "My Email" instead of just "Email") so you don't accidentally trigger them in conversation.
